Aergians live much, much longer lifespans than Humans, living to an average of 4480 years before death. However it also takes roughly 960 years before an Aergian reaches full maturity and is seen as a capable adult. That being said, outliers exist, and there have been members of the species that live far beyond 6000 years. The older they become, the higher percentage of plastic can be found in their scales.

The Aergians as a whole are generally Neutral, with no surviving governmental figures before being integrated into the Human collective Glacoria, they were given a certain level of legal immunity for their integration into society. This had the Opposite effect, while the Human government is responsible to provide fro the Aergians, the lizards themselves do not see themselves as part of the collective.

Avians are slightly shorter than most other races, but are still medium in size, however their frames can be quite frail at times.

The common Aergian language is a mixture of tongue lisps and rasping throats, however most space-faring members of their race, can speak not only Aergian, but Common as well. While most Aergians do not trust the other races on their own, the highly academic among them will take the time to learn the few other languages that exist.

One of the defining features of the Aergians is their scales, and more specifically, the heavy PVC armouring that is imbued into them. These Scales provide a +2 bonus to AC. Additionally, whenever an Aergian were to take fire damage, they reduce a number from that damage equal to (1d12 per level/3)+ Constitution modifier.
