Homebrew Colossus Species Details

Colossus have extremely tough bodies. Born from the earth's crust, they are made entirely out of minerals. Colossus are very kind and gentle creatures, but they are a force to be reckoned with once they are angered. As a colossus gets older, it's rocky body will begin to become more and more tough, further increasing it's defensive capabilities. Colossus only eat rocks or other minerals and they have no need to consume fluid. A colossus can typically live somewhere between 700-750 years, although it's lifespan is significantly impacted by what kind of mineral it's body is made of. Colossus are rather simple-minded creatures that rarely think of anything above their natural instincts, but they are very adaptive creatures and have no trouble with acclimating to new environments. Colossus are often used as tools in war, although they tend to have trouble with comprehending complicated commands. Colossus dig out massive underground labyrinths which they then use as storage for large rocks which they will eat once they become hungry. A colossus only needs to sleep for about 3 hours a day, but they will happily sleep for longer if possible. Once a colossus passes away, it's body will once more return to the earth that it was born from.

Tireless

Colossus wake up faster from sleep, as it isn't entirely necessary for them to sleep for longer periods of time. Gets advantage when trying to wake up from sleep, but has to wait another turn to fully wake up.
