Homebrew Demigod Species Details

"You're a demigod? But you don't look like a demigod!"

"First: that's rude. Second: That's super rude!"

"Sorry! I didn't mean to be rude. I just was surprised. You're just kind of a mess. Never expected a demigod to be a mess..."

Your birth was auspicious or maybe cursed. Really it's something crazy! One of your parents grew close with a deity. Congrats! You were born and you're a demigod whether you like it or not.

The Consequences of Your Birth

Not all are pleased with the birth of a demigod. It is not rare for Gods to take an interest in mortals and there are some who wish to see demigods treated with respect and awe that they deserve as children of the Gods. Others want any and all demigods to be enslaved or destroyed. Some gods or their spouses are displeased and send forces to destroy them. When making a demigod character, think of what your origins would be. The Origins Table offers some suggestions, but feel free to elaborate on these backgrounds.
