Homebrew Draconic Host Species Details

A Draconic host was once a human who came across a cursed corpse of an adult dragon. the reason for a dragon skeleton being cursed could be from Necromancers, Warlocks, Undead, Fiends, Aberrations, Celestials, Fey, or anything you can come up with. But once the dragon settles into the mind of a Host, it has its own plane of reality that it can form to make it look like its lair. for example, a Blue dragon can have a plane of cloud that when they get angry it can cause a storm or a red dragon where everywhere is fire. During rest, the dragon can cause the Host to visit the plane and they can communicate, they can injure each other but can not kill outright. The dragon can also see and hear what the host is doing but only communicate with the host. If the dragon stays in for a long period of time, then the Host's teeth begin to sharpen and patches of scales begin to show on their body. they also can grant the Host some of their heightened sights. The dragon can also banish the Host to this plane for a few days if the Host wants to take a break or the play can not make the session. If the dragon stays for long, the curse will spread on the Host's body unwillingly by the Host and the Dragon. and if the body is all skin and no scales, then the Host starts to mutate and grow into the original dragon's form. though, the curse can be slowed by the purchase of an aberration amulet that most wizards can produce, even though the curse only comes to the full-body after about 3-5 years. If the Host and the Dragon have a good relationship though, the curse stops and they can shape where the scales go as they wish when that does happen, but only once.
