Homebrew Stitched Soul Species Details

Victims of twisted resurrection magic, a stitched soul is a gaunt, skinny and pale-faced mockery of their former selves.  Gray eyes unsettle animals and normal folk, and their slowly beating hearts only weakly feel the tug of emotions.  Although their frames  are slight, they possess surprising strength and quickness.

Most stitched souls are loners, if not by choice.  They often live as aliens among their people; emotionally scarred, they navigate only with difficulty the vicissitude of interactions with normal folk.  Their alien nature often forces them into a life of wandering and adventure.

Injured Soul

Unable to process emotions,  stitched souls are unable to easily intuit the emotions of others.  They have disadvantage on all insight checks.

Unfeeling Resolve

Stitches souls lack the capability to feel the emotions that cause fear in normal folk, and will always stand resolutely against the greatest horrors.  They have immunity to the frightened condition.
