Mothfolk are a rather small race, only reaching around 4 to 5 feet and are fairly light; on average reaching 120lbs and under due to most of their bulk being a fluffy, light coat. Your size is medium.
Your mind has been opened to the magical energy around you, you innately cast Detect Magic within a 10ft radius of yourself. At 3rd level you gain the ability to cast See Invisibility once per long rest.
You have a Darkvision of 60ft and gain the general appearance of a moth. Including furred antennas, scaled wings, and a fluffy chest/body coat. You also have the inability to speak unless through telepathy.
You can read and write common and sylvan, but you can only talk through the use of telepathy.
Casemaker
This variant of Mothfolk make up the leather workers and tailors of this race. They are rather intelligent and often find themselves on the tinkering end of crafts work. Casemakers are the majority of the Mothfolk population, being the ones that shy away from combat and use mind over matter. They're often shy and keep away from any form of fighting they see. They are also on the smaller end of the race.
Death'sHead
The Death's Head is a larger, bulkier side of Mothfolk, their backs adorned with some form of skull, which kind dictates just how high a particular individual was born into the hierarchy of their variant. This subrace is often found in militaries.
- Human: Low, the bottom of society
- Wolf: Mid, average soldier
- Bear: High, long bloodline of the high ranked soldier
