Baizsianans mature at an incredibly slow pace after the ritual. They no longer grow and develop in the same way that the race they originally were did. Instead their body will slowly become more and more overcome by the Baizsiana fungus. A Baizsianan may live for a couple millennia, at this point they will begin to slow, their skin growing into fungal tumours until the whole body is overrun. At this point they will continue to grow and become the seed for a new strain of the Baizsiana colony.

Baizsianans often tilt towards neutrality due to their alignment with nature. They may lean more towards chaos or law depending solely on their methods and also their personality before the ritual.

Baizsianans size correlates to that of their original form, if you were originally a medium race you are medium, if you were small, you are small.

Your base walking speed is 30 feet.

Thanks to the Baizsiana spores in your blood, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

You have advantage on saving throws against being poisoned, and you have resistance to poison damage.

Your physical form is more fluid than that of other creatures. You are able to change the shape of your appendages to suit different situations. Once per long rest you may choose one tool or weapon without the two-handed property that you are proficient with (you may also choose a shield), for the rest of the day you ca reshape one limb at a time (no action required) into a fungal version of that tool, weapon or shield.

Whilst you are using a tool, weapon or shield like this, you cannot be disarmed of it.

You know the druidcraft cantrip. When you reach 3rd level, you can cast the divine favor spell once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest - when you cast divine favor in this way, the damage type is necrotic instead of radiant. When you reach 5th level, you can cast the spike growth spell once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for these spells.

You can speak, read, and write Common, Sylvan, and one extra language of your choice. This extra language will likely correspond with whatever your race was before the ritual.
