Homebrew Bunyip Species Details

A race similar in origin to the Dragonborn but with a more human-like upper body in return for a serpent-like lower body. Originally born from a now extinct breed of dragon known for their smaller size, they have out lived their creators. Generally seen as a monster for their more aggressive past, plus their similarity to the Marilith, and because of this they shy away from humans and other races. Usually residing in colder or moist claimants has caused them to developed fur to survive their habitat. No matter how the public see them, they have developed a minor village for the Bunyip in the mountains, the village was formed after the fall of their creators as a way to survive, otherwise they are an almost nomadic race not normally seen in towns and cities. The fur that covers parts of their body is quiet soft and warming ,so it is sometimes used to trade, has replaced most of their scales making them easier to harm. They will generally eat anything, within reason, ranging from insects to creatures their own size. Bunyips come in various colors, their lower body can be black, blue, brass, bronze, copper, gold, green, purple, red, silver, or white, their upper body can be light-green, light-purple, gray, or light-pink, and their fur can be black, gray, or white. A small detail noticed about them is that they are very curious of females of other races.
