Homebrew Tauren Species Details
The Tauren is a race of large bovine humanoids. They appear similar to a Minotaur though they are less savage, more intelligent, and much more connected to the earth upon which they live. Most Tauren are displeased with the negative connotation that their more aggressive bovine cousins have left on their race. Tauren tend not to be nearly as aggressive as Minotaur however they do share a similar hulking physique that, while slightly smaller than their cousin, can lend itself to battle if needed. As opposed to that of most Minotaur, Tauren tend not to prefer a lonely lifestyle. They often adopt a nomadic and tribal lifestyle moving with what the earth provides and always holding a strong connection to their Tauren brethren. Tauren often hail from great plains and when they make semi permanent or even permanent settlements they prefer the protection of available higher ground such as bluffs and plateaus.
