Of all the humanoids of all the Realms, the Australians are the most fun to socialise with and the most ferocious in battle. Amongst the Humans as one of the youngest races to appear in the Mortal Plane, not much is known about the Australians, or Aussies, aside from the fact that they certainly have some ancient history. All that is known about their past is that they certainly had an entanglement, perhaps a full scale war, with an extinct humanoid race known as the British. Whatever the case, the Australians are driven by whatever makes themselves and others laugh if not in direct relation to their religion or family.

Australians are certainly unique in their appearance. All Aussies bear the skin of an orange tint. They’re slightly taller than the average Human, barely exceeding the height of 6 and a half feet. They’re also scarily muscular. Australians are well known for their endless exercise routines and weight lifting, making the bulk of their body entirely large muscles. Finally, an Australian has two characteristics of a black tone. They’re eyes are pure black, no light or colour glimmers within them. They bear massive black markings upon their skin reflecting the art and appearance of various creatures, crests, objects, nature and elements. Needless to say Australians are physically unique.

Down Unda’

Australians may be similar to Humans in the sense of being territorial and expansive at the same time but no matter the case they will always situate their palaces around scorched deserts with the most unforgiving of temperatures and conditions and no means of expanding to lesser land types and continents. However that is speaking only for the monarchs. The most common of Australian societies are found in what appears to be a gigantic sinkhole in the desert, where constructs of bridges, tunnels and hanging buildings become one with the sand and rock. However just because they live in an area that not even the most stubborn humanoid would dare venture doesn’t mean that they are not prepared for an attack. A single Australian is expected to take on the amount of opponents that corresponds with their age number. In short, Australians aren’t referred to as daredevils and nomads without reason.

Australians place their faith in many gods and deities with their own morals and ideals but the virtue of one of the most respected is the right to adventure free from consequence. An Australian will always take an opportunity to venture into the territory unmarked on their map, making them fearless of what could and does lie ahead. This makes an Australian’s most common ideal reflect the right and desire of exploration for an enjoyable moment. They won’t go everywhere though. Depending on the biome, who roams there and the number of people coming they will shy away from even the most dangerous of places, however unlikely. A single Australian will turn around should a place be too cold, dominated by Elves or Humans or remains uncharted on their maps for a valid reason. Despite this, an Australian will always look danger in the eyes and demand they take their best shot.

Australians don’t take to kindly to outsiders. Most humanoids are discriminated equally but Humans and Elves are to be apprehended, and if provoked then killed, on sight as Elves have always tried to force them out of their homes and into a safer life amongst nature whilst Humans have expanded their territory and seized Australian land and religious sites. 

 

Blackened Blood Traditions

Australians keep and honour their traditions similar to how Humans erect constructs to worship gods, forge alliances, store knowledge, house civilians and maintain governments but that is the only thing they keep of their past. Unless something significant occurs like a war, marriage, birth or treaty then it serves no value. Which makes the death of a person meaningless and thus they do not fear death. The dead are respectfully sent off into the next life via a funeral and forgotten. Australians view death as a place where one takes a leap of faith into the truest of unknowns and now exists in a new and better plane of existence.

 

All Australians are a great decadent of Steve Of House Irwin, a legendary warrior with a generous heart for animals. All Australians take after him and have adapted to an extent that they have developed an abnormally large muscular capacity and the same compassion Steven Of House Irwin showed animals.

Australian Naming

Australians name their children with close relations/reflections of plants, animals and resources such as Buck or Finch. However their language also allows for the abbreviation of lesser common names such as Macca for McDonald. Whenever venturing they go by a Wild Call to hide their identity. These Wild Calls resemble elemental properties, the likes of which are limited to Fire and Earth like Blaze Treerock.

Lifespan

Australians have it rough. They exist within supposedly harsh conditions and are ridiculed constantly. But their lifespan and reliance go hand in hand. A common Australian lasts to an extent of 360 years.

Tongue Of The Sun

All Australians are born with the knowledge of Aussie Tongue, a language of mostly abbreviated Common words and eastern accents & grunts. You can speak, read and write Aussie but you can only speak fluent Common Tongue. You can also choose an additional language.

Australians like a joke but are easily angered and are even more intimidating when enraged
