The Baum are a group of trees that gained sentience around the time of written history. The Baum are humanoid trees that are about the same size as humans but some subraces resemble trees more than humans. no one knows how the Baum were created, not even the Baum. But some speculate that Gnomes created them in a ritual of sorts. each Baum have a magical crystal that gives them live. overall the Baum are peaceful and try to help their neighbors and the environment around them.
