Homebrew Argonian Species Details

Argonians are an oviparous race of reptilian people native to the large and marshy province known as Black Marsh. Argonians are one of the few races completely unrelated to men and mer, who think of themselves as coming from, and ultimately returning to, the Hist. In fact, much of Argonian culture centers around the Hist and its effects on Argonian biology and spirituality. Enigmatic and intelligent, the Argonians are experts of guerrilla tactics, and their natural abilities suit their swampy homeland. They have developed immunities to diseases that have plagued many would-be explorers in the region, and they are capable of easily exploring underwater locations due to their ability to breathe water.

Argonians are extremely resilient and have an understanding of their surrounding that surpasses other races.

Proficiencies

Argonians in Black Marsh do not use many advanced weapons, and instead use traditional weapons often tipped in poisons from the many dangerous species of the area. Argonians, of course, are immune to this class of poisons.

Amphibian

Argonians are amphibious and extremely competent swimmers.

Regeneration

Argonians have the innate ability to heal rapidly.
