Homebrew Arcane Amalgam Species Details
An Arcane Amalgam is a type of chimera created by powerful wizards but instead of using as their bases animals they use humans, more specifically humans cursed with lycanthropy. The creature is malformed and gains traits and looks of other creature but the creature retains his intellect and is able to shapechange his had back in his previous humanoid head but not the rest of the body. The Arcane Amalgam is able to use traits from the parts he is using but he can't use them at the same time because his brain is not able to process all the characteristics at the same time, only a an Arcane Amalgam that lived long enough can do this.
Arcane Amalgam Traits

You can choose one of this traits during a long rest:
- Mountain goat legs: Your movement speed increases by 10 feet and you gain a climbing speed equal to your walking speed.
- Charge: If you move at least 20 ft. straight toward a target and then hit it with a ram attack on the same turn, the target takes an extra 7 (2d6) damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 14 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.
- Pack Tactics:You have advantage on an attack roll against a creature if at least one of your allies is within 5 ft. of the creature and the ally isn't incapacitated.
- Beast hide: Because of your thick hide you gain an +1 to your armor class.
- Amphibious: You can breath air as well as water and you gain a swimming speed equal to your walking speed.
- Keen Hearing and Sight: You have advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on hearing or sight.
- Mimicry: You can mimic simple sounds you have heard, such as a person whispering, a baby crying, or an animal chattering. A creature that hears the sounds can tell they are imitations with a successful DC 14 Wisdom (Insight) check.
Ability Score Increase
Your Strength and Constitution score increases by 2, and your Charisma score decreases by 2.
Age
The age of an Arcane Amalgam is unknown because it's a very rare creature to met in your life time and because they die in battle for the person that created them. Some sages talk that they may live as long as their original race.
Alignment
Goliath society, with its clear roles and tasks, has a strong lawful bent. The goliath sense of fairness, balanced with an emphasis on self- sufficiency and personal accountability, pushes them toward neutrality.

Goliaths are between 7 and 8 feet tall and weigh between 280 and 340 pounds. Your size is Medium.
