Homebrew Alpha Rhino-kin Species Details

 

Alpha Rhino-kin is a hulking creature the lives deep in the woods . They tower over most standing on average 20 feet weighing 3 tons. light grey skin that has the feel of rugged stone. Theses creatures are very bulky rely heavily on their physical strength for everything. Being territorial creatures they will defend anything they hold dear with their life.  The horns on their head look  like bones. If you somehow make an ally out a Alpha Rhino-kin  you will have a ally for life. 

Unbreaking Warriors

Every day a Alpha Rhino-kin is looking for their next battle. Food, water, and shelter are taken by force if need be. Each Alpha Rhino-kin travels alone for there are too few to be seen together. They hunt for their food living more of an barbarian life style.

Alpha Rhino-kin thus place a premium on self-sufficiency and individual skill not wanting to depend on others. They have a no need for competition they find enjoyment in a great battle and the thrill of the hunt. Win or lose a Alpha Rhino-kin  will always get up to continue on.

This warrior mindset can also be their down fall. Alpha Rhino-kin are battle machines, and will fight for what they believe in until their dying breath. If a Alpha Rhino-kin wants to slay a dragon and they fail , they will wanna keep fighting until the job is done. Even if they die from the battle they will consider it a great honour.

Devoted Brute

Alpha Rhino-kin have a unique connection to those they have made their allies. When they make this connection they form this bond for the remainder of their life. This bond seems deeper then just words of bond they seem to make this connection using pheromones. Alpha Rhino-kin are closer to beast then civilised . They seem to have a strange obsession with half-orcs and Tieflings  think they are very interesting.

Horns

Alpha Rhino-kin are barrel-chested humanoids with heads resembling those of Rhino's. Their horn range in size about 1 foot long. They often ornament their horns with metal rings or sheathe them in metal to protect them from damage.

Strength & Vigour 

Alpha Rhino-kin are zealous and love battle. They are found among certain Clans, but  choose the Legion over the fury of the pack.

Alpha Rhino-kin tend to vent their outrage through violence, but they are generally quick to anger. They are passionate, loving their friends and partners fiercely, and they laugh loud and long at good jokes.

Natural Born Fighters

Alpha Rhino-kin have fists bigger than most humanoid's heads. They love to fight, with or without weapons. Even unarmed an Rhino-kin's fists are weapons themselves. When they arm themselves Alpha Rhino-kin use their Large hands to easily wield any large weapons they can find.

Bulky Build

Alpha Rhino-kin bodies are packed with bulky, dense muscles. Their weight, width and girth makes normal furnishing, doors, gates and mounts mostly unusable by alpha Rhino-kin. They are prone to simply destroying such things that they find useless to them.
