Homebrew Wumolf (Lupus Sempiternum) Species Details

Back in 1484, Dwarves had come up with the seemingly brilliant idea to extract the lycanthropy out of humans who had been cursed with it. After about two years of developing the device, it was ready for testing. They bought in five volunteers to test it on. After three successful extractions, the final two were completely botched. Not only did they extract the lycanthropy, they created a new species, later called the Wumolves.

The Wumolves have all of the physique and traits of a werewolf. So they can be easily mistaken for one. The only difference being that they have the same mental capacity as a human. They can read, write, talk, and think for themselves. They are the more civilized cousin of the werewolf.

Being around for almost five years, their species have spread throughout the lands, far and wide. Nearly inhabiting all regions. They thrive in cold areas as their thick fur keeps them nice and warm, as well as reflect the rain in wetter areas so they are not completely soaked. However, they do have trouble in hotter areas, such as deserts and tropical regions.

Wumolf (Lupus Sempiternum) Traits

With a complex being, comes a complex trait list.

Suprisingly Charming

The Wumolves have a muscular body. Which is bound to charm the ladies (and probably furries too.) This trait gives them a +2 Charisma Boost on any charisma check/roll.

Burden of Thick Fur

The only problem with their thick, luscious fur, is the heat. It's absolutely unbearable.

In hot regions, a Wumolf:

- Loses 2 points of movement in all categories

- Loses 1 Dexterity

- Consumes an extra serving of the required amount of water

Hot regions too OP pls nerf.

Jaw Dropping Jaw Strength

Jaw strength is not a force to be reckoned with. Wumolves gain +3 strength on a "Unarmed Strike" with their bite.

Clumsy Wolf

Size doesn't matter. But, when you're attempting to sneak into a highly fortified fortress, it kinda does.

-2 Dexterity (Stealth)

Muscles Mean Mega Strength

Muscles on a Wumolf are like a A10 Warthog. They just obliterate literally anything in it's path.

- +2 for Strength checks/rolls

- + 1d6 on Unarmed Strike for bone breaking

- Can lift heavy things
