Homebrew Demihuman Species Details

The demihuman is born from a human and were creature that fall in love. These half breeds have the appearance of both their human and were parent. The demihuman is a mix of the traditional image of an were creature, but it cannot change shape. They are seen as either more or less bulky than the average human. They may also have horns, fang like tusks, sharp teeth, and/or extremely wild hair, depending on the were parent. Overall their physique makes it clear that they aren't human, but then it also doesn't, by any means make them look bestial and monstrous. They have thicker hair than normal humans, bestial eyes, claws on their human-like hands and feet and may have a tail. 

Demihuman Traits

As a Demihuman you have benefits from both sides of the gene pool.

Ability score increase

Your dexterity increases by 2, all other ability scores increase by 1.

Proficiency bonus

You gain proficiency in athletics and one other skill of your choice.

Language

You can speak, read, and write Common and one extra language of your choice.

Feat

you gain one feat of your choice.

Darkvision.

You have darkvision out to a distance of 60 feet.

Claws.

Your unarmed attacks deal slashing damage instead of bludgeoning damage, and increase the damage from just your strength modifier to 1d4 plus your strength modifier. You also gain a climbing speed equal to your walking speed.
