Homebrew Acryli Species Details

Full Disclosure: This race was suggested to me by my friend from within his mind of madness. He also has a Twitch channel so please give him your support. A World Unknown

 Their home world exists on the very edge of the known galaxy, a world that can never be seen in black and white, only in full colour, a world so full of creativity that other races would call them insane. A world called Crayos home of the Acryli.

No Colour Co-ordination

The Acryli have brightly coloured skin tones that is one colour, their hair is a different shade of the same colour. They are similar sizes to humans and live just as long. However, when Acryli wear clothes, they often wear colours that clash horrifically together or it is multi-coloured. They say it helps inspire their creativity, but on a positive note, you won't be able to lose them in city as they'll stand right out.

 Acryloc, The Language of The Acryli

On their normal home world, Acryli speak Acryloc. This normally sounds like gibberish along with strange squeals that makes them sound like people in an insane asylum. These squeals come in different pitches which they use to show the emotion they're using.

Mentally Unstable?

 Ask any other race about the Acryli and they will say that they are insane or on the borderline of being insane. The Acryli will often act on a whim doing whatever they please whenever they please, they are known kleptomaniacs taking things that they like on these whims and they seem to be in a state of child like innocence. Whenever they get hired (if ever) to do something, they will do it in their own way, which is usually over complicated and highly impractical but somehow works. They are the literal definition of 'method in the madness'.

Rays of Colour

Perhaps a gift from their god that has long been forgotten, perhaps an adaptation that they have or perhaps reasons beyond understanding, the Acryli are able to send out a ray of colour with elements attached to it. The only thing that is understandable, is that the element is related to their colour. As shown in the table below.

Ability Score Increase

The Acryli are oddly charismatic despite their strange ways and they are highly energetic. Charisma +2 and Con +1.

Age

Nobody is really sure when Acryli mature as they constantly act like children and they generally live as long as an average human if they haven't already killed themselves.

Alignment

The Acryli will always be chaotic acting upon their whims but they will constantly switch between the others with their behavioural changes.

Size

Acryli will grow similar sizes with humans. You are considered a medium sized creature.

Speed

Your base walking speed is 30 ft.

Colour Ray

 Perhaps a gift from their god that has long been forgotten, perhaps an adaptation that they have or perhaps reasons beyond understanding, the Acryli are able to send out a ray of colour with elements attached to it. The only thing that is understandable, is that the element is related to their colour. As shown in the table below. This is a one use per a long rest. You start by doing 2d6 of chosen element, this improves at 6th level dealing 3d6, then 11th dealing 4d6 and finally 16th dealing 5d6.
