Homebrew The DUDES Species Details
So you came here to ask me about THE DUDES? Alright lemme give you a rundown on the Dudes. The Dudes take the appearance of a muscular human male, except they are always wearing sunglasses and they have epic devil horns. The Dudes reproduce in an odd way. They do not reproduce sexually, instead they just have to reach the age of 100. Once they do so, they die instantly and two more Dudes erupt from the corpse, and they will mature very quickly and become an adult Dude at age 5, with the appearance, physique, and mental capacity of a 20 year old male, which they will retain until death.
The Dudes are just a bunch of righteous dudes, and tend to range from lawful good to true neutral. There are of course some bad Dudes but once the average heroic Dude gets word of a bad Dude, they try to take it upon themselves to solve the problem, if they are not already preoccupied. The Dudes usually try to track him down, gang up on him, and beat him to death. The Dudes are pretty charismatic guys and also rarely pass up a chance to dap up another Dude they see in passing.
The DUDES Traits
Dudes are so ******* awesome, they wear sunglasses and have devil horns bro.Ability Score Increase
Your Strength score increases by 2, and your Charisma score increases by 2. Dudes are pretty strong and they are also the charisma-est dudes in the whole world
Age
Dudes reach adulthood at around 5 years old, and can live up to exactly 100 years old. The dudes mature fast, looking like a 20 year old male human at age 5 and looking that way until they die.
Alignment
Dudes are RIGHTEOUS! They tend to range from Lawful Good to True Neutral. It is extremely abnormal for a Dude to be evil.
Size
Dudes are between 6 and 7 feet tall and weigh between 200 and 300 pounds. Your size is Medium. They look like massive jacked guys but with horns.
Speed
Your speed is 40 ft. Dudes be running fast.
Always Wearing Sunglasses
Dudes always wear the sunglasses, so they are pretty good at seeing in them. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Powerful Build
You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift.
Nature of the Dude
Due to their large stature, Dudes have proficiency on Intimidation and Persuasion.
Horn Stab
The horns of the Dudes are feared as being some of the most lethal weapons out there. Dudes can stab an enemy with his devil horns, causing 1d8 piercing damage plus his Strength modifier. If the target is a creature of the same size or smaller, it must succeed on a DC 12 Strength saving throw or be 5 feet away and knocked prone.
Sunglasses Renewal
They always gotta wear sunglasses. Should their eyewear go more than 5 feet away from them, the pair that has fallen off disintegrates and a new pair instantly forms on their face.
Language
You can speak, read, and write Common. Dude literacy.
