Homebrew Doptera (Mothfolk) Species Details

Ability Score Increase: Your Dexterity increases by 2 and you Wisdom increases by 1. Your Strength decreases by 2.

Age: Dopteras mature quiet quickly and die fairly young. They mature at the age of 4 and live on average to 25 but some can live up to 60 years. 

Size: Dopteras are size small and are short is height, ranging from 3' up to 4'5".

Speed: You have a walking speed of 25ft and a flying speed of 35ft

Darkvision: Accustomed to life in pitch dark, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 120 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in Darkness as if it were dim light. 

Sunlight Sensitivity: You have disadvantage on attack rolls and Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight when you, the target of the attack, or whatever you are trying to perceive is in direct sunlight. 

Moth Spores: Whenever you take the attack action, you may forgo an attack to instead shake small spores off of your body. Your target must make a dexterity saving throw. The DC is determined by 10 + your dexterity. If failed the target fall periodically asleep for 1 minute. This ability can be used a number of times equal to your Dexterity modifier per long rest. 

Nocturnal: You have additional benefits when shrouded by nighttime. During nighttime you have advantage on all stealth checks, targets of your Moth Spores have disadvantage against the save, and you always know what time it is and however many hours are left until sunrise.

Languages: You know one language of your choice.
