Three subraces of Zheresh exist: Dustdancer Zheresh, , and Whisperwing mothfolk. Choose one of them for your character.

Zheresh (Mothfolk) Traits

Your Zheresh character has the following racial traits.

Ability Score Increase

Your Dexterity and Wisdom score both in crease by 1.

Age

Zheresh exist in their very vulnerable pupae state for 3 years, after which they transfigure adolescent versions of their full selves. They reach maturity at 10, and can live to the age of 45.

Alignment

Zheresh have a fairly rigid social strata, and as such tend to be lawful. Even those away from their group tend to hold to their ways. They are predisposed to neither good nor evil, as their society is somewhat strange compared to other humanoid societies.

Size

Zheresh, when not concealing their identity, are thin, lanky and reach heights between 7 and 8 feet. While concealing themselves, they are roughly the same shape and size of humans.

Speed

Your base walking speed is 30 feet.

Darkvision

Zheresh are a nocturnal people, and as such their compound eyes see well in the darkness. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Vestigial Wings

Long since ceasing to be functional for flight, Zheresh wings are still capable of slowing their fall from great heights. You can cast Feather Fall with this trait. Once you cast this spell, you can't cast it again with this trait until you finish a short or long rest. 

The Zeresh must have their wings unfurled to use this feature.
