Homebrew Winged Monkey Species Details

Sequestered in high mountains atop tall trees, and in deep jungles, the winged Monkeys, evoke wonder and hilarity. Many Winged Monkeys aren’t even native to the Material Plane. They hail from a world beyond — from the boundless vistas of the Elemental Plane of Air.

They are immigrants, refugees, scouts, and explorers, their outposts functioning as footholds in a world both strange and alien.

Paw and Feather

Much smarter than the average Monkey, these 3-4 foot long creatures with long, prehensile tails, and the wings of various birds are quite rare. They can become adventurers, and have been seen as leaders before, but they often serve as henchmen, cronies, and thugs for villains. This is not due to any evil predisposition however, but because evil creatures are the only ones willing to try and break the will of these free spirited creatures. They also often wear fezzes, for some reason.
