Homebrew Blessed cat Species Details
They use a magic pendant to help them easily talk to people and, if they choose to do so, can make it look and sound like the words are coming out of their mouth. Through training a cat can learn to use their telepathy with ease and can get to the point to where their pendant has no effect. The pendant also helps keep them from acting like a normal cat, so if it is removed, they may feel the urge to do things a regular cat would normally do. Their pendant can also be used as an arcane focus if they choose to cast spells.

While cats are very chaotic, they don't usually act evil. Most cats are chaotic neutral or chaotic good. Past experiences can change a cat and cause them to have a different alignment but it is unlikely.
Ability Score Increase
Your Dexterity increases by 2, and 2 other ability scores increase by 1.
Age
Most cats mature at about one year old and can live to be around 40
Darkvision
You can see in the dark as if it was dim and in dim light as if it was bright. You can discern colors in dark and dim light.
Telepathy
Your god has given you the ability to speak with others telepathically. You can telepathically speak to someone if you can see them. Also, if you spend 24 hours with someone, you learn to speak to them telepathically if they are within 30 ft of you
Quiet as a Mouse
As a cat, you are able to sneakily traverse through any area. You gain proficiency in stealth and can negate all fall damage once per short/long rest.
Magic Pendant
The pendant given to the cats by their god gives them a few abilities that allow them to do things normal cats can't do. Here are your abilities
-You can cast mage hand (which doesn't affect their number of known cantrips) and use mage hand to attack with a one handed weapon if the hand is within 5 feet of you.
-your pendant counts as an arcane focus
-your pendant helps you concentrate. if it is removed you may find that you will have the urge to do normal cat things and if you are below 5th level you wont be able to telepathically talk to anyone
