Bunkin are naturally smaller in stature and more agile than other races, at the cost of their physicality. However, some have chosen to instead focus their efforts on honing their minds, ignoring their innate dexterity.

-You are Small. Your class hit die is overwritten by your size hit die, d6.

-Choose either DEX or WIS and increase this stat by 2

-Choose either STR or CON and decrease this stat by 1

To compensate for their lack of durability, the Bunkin have developed keen hearing and eyesight to alert them of encroaching danger.

-You have Darkvision.

-You have Proficiency in either Perception or Stealth.

-You can hear conversation level sounds from 15 ft away as if they were next to you.

The Bunkin are built for speed, and they execute jumps which other races can imitate only with magic.

-Your base walking speed is 40.

-When calculating jump distance, you can use DEX instead of STR. Additionally, the distance for vertical jumps is not halved, and any checks involved may be done with acrobatics instead of athletics.

-Taking the dash action imposes disadvantage on all AOO made against you.

Whether it's jaws slipping off slick fur or a sudden, instinctual burst of intuition, the Bunkin are adept at narrowly avoiding the grasp of death.

-When being attacked, you can use this ability to keep yourself from being downed. If the damage would have reduced you to 0 hit points, the attack misses. However, if it would not have downed you, the attack is critical instead. This ability applies to both physical and magical attacks.

-This ability recharges once per short rest. Additionally, you regain one charge upon reaching 2 failed death saves- after gaining a charge in this way, the ability cannot be used again until the next day.

Since the day you were born, you've felt like luck has been attached to you- natural as a limb.

-On critical failures, reroll. If the resulting roll is a 20, keep the new result- otherwise, use the original.
