Homebrew Aldrei Species Details

Aldrei- Plant people.
Green, plant-like skin. Vary greatly from one another and resemble all manner of flora. Hive mind/telepathic with all of their race (there are no secrets there are no lies) within 120ft. Lifespans are markedly shorter than that of humans; mature very quickly. No eyelashes. “Hair” is an amalgamation of plant growth. Feet have retractable “roots” in place of toenails. Feed by absorbing energy from the sun/soil. Being near them has a positive effect on one's mood. Averse to extreme heat.

Aldrei Traits

The pollen given off by the Aldrei possess a natural antidepressant quality that seems to make people in the immediate vicinity appear to like them more.

Your roots while planted in place are sensitive enough to feel your surroundings and the movement within a 15ft radius.

Funny spores

When creatures interact with you they find you more appealing due to the spores released from the Aldrei's skin

Carnivorous feeding

Reducing an enemy to 0hp let's you feed and gain 1d4+character level hp.

Good soil

Once per long rest use a bonus action replenish 1d4+character level when in a location with plentiful nutrition. Duration is as long as you remain near the nutrient source, leaving ends this effect.
