Homebrew Aquithon Species Details

They come from up north where they live on ice floes and in underwater caves. They eat raw fish. Their societies value power above all else and most individuals are Lawful Evil. They are similar to dragonborn, related to giant sea beasts that dwell in places so dangerous that most humanoids could never encounter them. Unlike dragonborn and other races, who shun dragons, the Aquithon worship these sea beasts and justify their pillaging by saying it is for the sea beasts’ honor.

Being an Aquithon

Due to the cold, they are tough (+1 Con) and they are flexible to swim well (+2 Dex). They can breathe underwater and can cast the cantrip Shape Water once per short or long rest. Coming from cold climates, they are resistant to cold damage but vulnerable to fire. They also are proficient with the trident and net, being the primary melee combat fighting style of their race.
