You have proficiency in the Perception skill due to your increased sense of hearing and smell (in and out of transformation).

Your unarmed strike does additional damage (1d4 + Strength) while in your Varúlfur form.

You can tap into your feral instincts. You drop to all fours and double your movement speed for 30 seconds. You can use this ability once per short or long rest and you must be in your Varúlfur form to use it. You can only gain the benefits of Sprint if you have nothing in your hands.

Using an action you can transform into a hulking anthropomorphic wolf creature. While in this form you can use your claws to make an unarmed strike that does additional damage. You are also immune to all poison and diseases while transformed. In addition, you can also tap into your feral instincts. You drop to all fours and double your movement speed for 30 seconds. You can use this ability once per short or long rest and you must be in your Varúlfur form to use it (Sprint). Your wolf form strikes fear into the hearts of others. You have disadvantage on Deception, Performance & Persuasion, and advantage on Intimidation checks.

You can speak, read, and write Common. While in your cursed wolf form you have a rough element of communication open with wolves. You can also choose one additional language.

Your base walking speed is 30ft. Your Sprint ability doubles this for 30 seconds, but can only be used once before needing a short rest.

The Varúlfur curse increases the standard human lifespan. Varúlfur typically live between 100 and 200 years old, depending on how early in life they succumbed to the curse and what their original race was.

Most were-creatures are outcasts and banished from normal society. Some Varúlfur choose to reincorporate into society with the control over their curse but most choose to create small villages and stick together. Their alignment vastly ranges depending on their background.

Varúlfur in their humanoid form is the same size as a medium sized humanoid (based on original race). Once transformed, the Varúlfur can stand over 8 feet tall and becomes a hulking presence. Your size is still considered Medium however.
