Homebrew Deepfolk Species Details

The Deepfolk are a close relative to human. Years of adaptation led to the development of gills in addition to their still functional lungs. with no fins, the Deepfolk fill their lungs with water in order to walk along the bottom of the ocean much like humans do on land. Deepfolk are naturally drawn toward the arcane arts, as arcana is what kept them alive when their home fell into the ocean. typically neutral in alignment, the Deepfolk typically hide their gills from others when on land, either with long hair or cloth covering.
