Homebrew Angel Species Details

Most Angels are Priests living in Sky temples. They hail from a world beyond — from the boundless vistas of the Elemental Plane of Air.

They are Priests, scouts, and explorers, their outposts functioning as a small temple in a world that they don't fully understand.

Wings and Traits

From below, Angels look much like Normal Humans. Standing upright, Angels might reach 7 feet tall, and they have long wide wings.

The idea of a Neutral person baffles most Angels. After all, to them, one must be good or evil. Even when explained to them, they initially find the notion of being Neutral is mystifying. As a result, Angels are very conflicted when it comes to neutral people  Holy objects catch their eyes.

They find it hard not to Instantly try to kill anything they find Evil. An Angel spends years among other angels in Sky Temples.

Pure Evil terrifies the Angels.

Homelands

Most Angels live on the Elemental Plane of Air in Sky temples or in the small temples in the mortal realm.

Angel BACKGROUNDS

Backgrounds that are most appropriate for aarakocra include the Prist, a line of exxplorers, and Nomads.

The small colonies of Angels are insular and remote, and few Angels live away from their Temples.

 

Angel Traits

As an Angel, you have certain traits in common with your people. Being able to fly at high speed starting at 1st level is exceptionally effective in certain circumstances and exceedingly dangerous in others. As a result, playing an Angel requires special consideration by your DM.

Ability Score Increase

Your Speed(flying) score increases by 2, and your Agility score increases by 1.

Age

Angels reach maturity by age 18. Compared to humans, Angels don’t usually live longer than 300 years.

Alignment

Most Angels are good and rarely choose sides when it comes to law and chaos. Leaders and warriors might be lawful Good, while explorers and adventurers might tend toward chaotic Good.

Size

Angels are about 6 feet tall. They have thin, medium weight bodies that weigh between 150 and 200 pounds. Your size is Medium.

Speed

Your base walking speed is 30 feet.

Flight

You have a flying speed of 50 feet. To use this speed, you can’t be wearing medium or heavy armor. Otherwise, it is 40 ft

Languages

You can speak, read, and write Common, and Celestial.
