The name of the species was deprived from the words “animated presentation” meaning that this species is a sort of hollow shell of a humanoid figure, generally as a toy of some kind. These creatures find a body/host to use for physical needs. What these creatures are beyond the dense exterior is believed to be either an infection or a lost soul looking for a familiar body. This species is less of what’s on the outside but instead what’s on the inside.
