Homebrew Arthrean Species Details
Arthreans
Arthreans are of an humanoid insect race who are nomadic merchants and travelers in nature, bringing unique goods and telling tales from around the world. They usually travel in caravans traveling toward wherever the wind may take them toward, but it isn't rare to see individuals that have left their caravan. They are dexterous and charismatic people, and even when they do not look that trustworthy, they still negotiate and get fair prices for their goods. People who might think that they're abominations might reconsider their opinion on them after spending an hour with an arthrean with a beer or two. However, since arthreans live in nomadic groups, the law is a bit tricky thing for them to obey for which they might end up in not so desirable places when they did something that they didn't know was illegal. Overall, the opinions of arthreans are mixed with plenty of people trusting them for their trading, or hating them since nobody really knows where they've originated from, they just know that they travel around the world.
Arthrean Physical Description
Arthreans are humanoid insects, who are physically slim and they stand tall with their two legs and utilize their four arms for general use, two of the arms are smaller and situated under the larger arms. Arthreons usually prefer to wear baggy clothes and silky materials with a plethora of vibrant colors. Their exoskeletons are hard and tough but it becomes softer and more flexible around the joints in their legs and arms. The color of their exoskeleton range from different shades of blues to the vibrant greens, which can have different and unique patterns in brown color. The flesh and blood of arthreans are acidic and are somewhat transparent green in color. Their faces somewhat resemble humanoids and has softer and flexible but still somewhat tough exoskeleton. They always have dark eyes and have two antennae which range in many different dark colors. Arthreans possess two acidic fangs for self defense. Since arthreans are insects, they lay eggs and are pretty territorial around them.
Arthrean Caravans
Arthreans travel in groups of travelers or merchants that range from the smaller fifty to the larger 500 members in population. The caravans aren't limited to only arthreans since other people from different races are warmly welcomed to the group, some of the foreigners even adopt the name of the caravan. The caravans arrive to major cities for approximately once every year to conduct trading and cultural exchange, while also telling stories and tales from afar. It's not impossible but it is unlikely to see one of these caravans, but if by any chance a person finds a caravan that is currently camping, you can expect to be welcomed with open arms and have a great time partying, participating in unique activities and events, and become blackout drunk and not be stolen a penny, although one might give some donations to them for the great time they had.
