Homebrew Ancient V2 Species Details
Ancients are a race made of pure Mana. Through the ages the Mana Pools of Alma have bubbled up to the surface causing many mutations in flora and fauna. 1 in every 1 billion births is an Ancient. The Mana has taken over the child in its mother's womb, replacing the physical body with one made of Mana. There is no physical difference save glowing aquamarine eyes and streaks of aquamarine in their hair. On the surface they appear to be Elves no matter what race they are born to.
Ancients are highly intelligent and many are casters. Their the to the Plane of Magic has made them able to detect magic by sight and sense magical residue. 1 in every 1000 Ancients is able to harness the raw Mana for offense and healing.
Additionally 1 in 100 Ancients born are tied to the Ancient Almans, able to summon great beasts from Soul Stones.
