Homebrew Wulfkin Species Details
For the longest time, wolves were savage creatures, hunting in packs, able to take down larger foes through numbers and tactics. Eventually, some wolves saw the humanoid races, and grew curious, as these humanoids could much more easily hunt. So, they started hanging around with these races, and throughout the years, they became the domesticated dogs that we all know of now. It was said that humans were the first to tame wolves, but that is in fact a lie. It was the wulfkin who tamed them.
Wulfkin resemble wolves typically, though they can look like any type of dog. They are blessed with the abilities of wolves, such as their tactical prowess, and their keen senses. Wulfkin can also communicate with a large portion of the animal kingdom. They are often mistaken for werewolves, but this does little to upset them.
Wulfkin often live in larger communities, whether in the wild or in cities. They get along just fine with other races, even the tabaxi, though they are fierce rivals with the vulpkin.
