Homebrew Appoplexian Species Details

Appoplexian

Appoplexians are fierce warriors hailing from the planet Appoplexia, favoring combat over diplomacy in all their affairs. They roam the galaxy in search of worthy opponents to match their strength against, searching for the fight of their lives. While most likely referring to themselves in the third person and starting each conversation with "Lemme tell ya something!"

Fierce and a High Sense of Shame

Appoplexians are tiger-like humanoids, typically taller than the average human, ranging from 7 to 9 feet tall. They are known throughout the universe for their muscular builds acquired from years of hunting and fighting. Appoplexians are covered in orange fur marked by black stripes, with areas of white fur on their muzzles, hands, feet, chests, and stomach. Their fur color can range from dark to light orange, while the white fur can take on a light yellow hue. They have yellow eyes that either remain solid yellow or have cat-like pupils. Appoplexians also have a large single retractable claw coming out of both wrists. These, coupled with an Appoplexian's legendary rage gives them a menacing air, not to mention their bone shaking roars they can produce. Appoplexians normally act with a sense of emotional openness, if an Appoplexian has a feeling, they're going to express it, (most likely though fighting). Appoplexians pride themselves on their strength and have a great appreciation for the best fighter, upon meeting someone they engage in a wrestling match until one is declared the dominant. Appoplexians also have a very high sense of shame, and as such are almost always wearing clothes, no matter the conditions They also take great pride in reffering to everyone by their full title and name.

"Lemme Tell Ya Something..."

As Appoplexians act with a sense of emotional openness, most likely with rage, they tend to gravitate towards the more violent action. As fighting is a source of pride for them, they enjoy fighting. They take pleasure in sparring, wrestling, and hunting, believing that all problems can be solved if you punch it hard enough. Though this mentality comes with a drawback as Appoplexians are shown to not be the brightest species around. Favoring fists of diplomacy, being the victims of opponents who can capitalize on this rage. Despite this, an Appoplexian's signature fighting style is quite sophisticated. Being a blend of varying grapples, wrestling techniques, and sheer brute force, they are able to overwhelm almost any opponent, and in addition to this they are able to remember anything relating to battles or fighting techniques. Meaning Appoplexians are quick to learning other styles of fighting as well.
