They are heavily augmented humans that have forsaken the weakness of their flesh in order to better perform their work of their religion.
Tech Priest's Of Mars (Or not Mars depending on campaign's) Traits
Augments and Additional Add-on'sAugmentations
Tech priests no longer have to eat, drink, or sleep and as such do not benefit from the advantage of taking such. To counter balance this similar to warforged they must remain in a near catatonic state for 4 hours minimum to recover spells or feats from classes. The tech priest will also have access to several different augmentations available for them to make that include anything such as servo-arms, mecha-dendrites, bionic eyes, and practically anything you can think of besides these things. These will grant you various benefits based on the DM and the item itself. Every tech priest can have augments equal to half their level rounded up. These are the add-ons and NOT the augments based on eating drinking and sleeping.
Ability Score increase
A +2 to intelligence and a -1 to your charisma
Language- (Cant Mechanicus)
You can speak the cant mechanicus as well as the common tongue but your voice will sound heavily robotic and perhaps a bit off putting to most races. Not that it matters to you.
Craft of the lex-mechanics
You are capable of crafting your mechanical augmentations and weapons of the more futuristic variety. These things will require materials that the DM will help you provide as long as he is willing to do so. If you start with this race as a later in the stage of levels you can choose to start with the augments that your level would provide if the DM allows you to.
