Homebrew Draconian Species Details
Honor. Victory. War. These are the facts of life to the proud dragon-worshiping peoples of Ignatia, called Draconians by other races. These elf-descendants have grown accustomed to the hot volcanic wastes and the humid tropical jungles that cover their homeland. From within their nigh-impenetrable mountain-forges, they seek to perfect the art of warfare and make the Might of the Dragons last a thousand years.
Sporting blackened scales that shield them from the heat of their homeland, Draconian crafts are composed of smithing and warfare, though during prosperous times they write great epics and art depicting heroes of ages long past. Their traditional clothing consists of light cloth, typically covered with some sort of armor or metal accessory.
Draconians have developed a style of swordsmanship that is is known colloquially as Blademastery, using fluid strikes with curved blades to quickly exploit enemies' weaknesses. As well, they practice a more chaotic form of pyromancy, called the Inner Flame, in order to deal countless damage to the foe.

Draconians are taller and leaner than humans, ranging to about 6' to 6' 6", and weighing about 175 lbs., though they are shorter and bulkier than their high elven cousins.
Speed
Your base walking speed is 35 feet.
Ability Score Increase
Your Strength score increases by 1, your Constitution score increases by 1, and your Charisma score increases by 1.
Age
Due to your elven blood, you have an extended lifespan, allowing you to live up to 200 years, without feeling the passages of time until the age of 180. Draconians are fully mature by age 20, though it takes a few more years for their scales to fully grow in.
Alignment
Draconians tend towards neutrality when it comes to conflict, yet when they are threatened they will fight ferociously.
Inner Flame
Your ancestors inherited the magics that were passed down from the Dragon Gods themselves. Though small, all Draconians have the innate ability to cast a small amount of fire at an enemy, granting you the ability to use fire bolt, using constitution for the modifier.
Blademastery
Your days training as a soldier in the Draconian Legions have taught you many skills, some of which are how to fight using the traditional blades of your people. You know how to use different weapons, depending on the style you studied.
Damage Resistance
You have resistance to fire damage.
Languages
You can speak, read, and write Common and Draconic. Draconic is thought to be one of the oldest languages and is often used in the study of magic. The language sounds harsh to most other creatures and includes numerous hard consonants and sibilants.
