Arch Demon Traits

Arch-Demons are highly powerful beings, and have been known to go toe to toe with lesser demons using little effort. Unlike Demons, Arch-Demons have more than one heart. The number of hearts varies, although upper-level demons have seven hearts. The removal or destruction of a single heart does not incur death, although it is painful, and destroying all their hearts, regardless of their strength, will kill them. They are masters of disguise and can hide among humans if they choose, for in their base form, they are almost identical to humans, with the only difference being tattoo-like markings that cover their bodies when in their state of Demonic Frenzy.

Demonic Weakness

Arch-Demons are being of the Abyss, and as such are vulnerable to Radiant damage.

Age

Arch-Demons do not age, and most have no sense of their age. They may stop maturing visually at any given stage of their life, though this has no effect on their power.

Demonic Frenzy

Once per short rest you can activate your Demon mark to gain immunity to Necrotic damage and resistance to slashing weapons.

When you make an attack you may add 1d6 Necrotic damage to the attack (at 5th level 2d6, 10th level 3d6, 15th level 3d8, 17th level 4d8)

The transformation lasts the amount of minutes equal to your charisma modifier.

Your pupils glow, the markings on your body glow, and wings sprout from your back

Level 10: You gain resistance to slashing weapons during this time.

Level 16: You gain 40ft flying speed during this time.

Dark Aura

No matter how hard they try to blend into normal society, Arch-Demons always seem to scare off people when they show up.

You are proficient in Intimidation and Deception.

Shadow Step

Starting at 6th level, an Arch-Demon can teleport up to 60 feet through dim light or darkness, provided that their destination's light is also dampened and nothing is blocking their exit. If you already have this feature, increase the range by 30 feet. You can use this feature once per long rest.

Languages

Arch-Demons can speak Common, Abyssal, and one other language of your choice.
