Homebrew Lesser Mothfolk Species Details
Honest and Fair
Lesser Mothfolk live their lives as traders, giving their fine silk to those they pass in return for favors or supplies. Due to this, they cannot afford to be liars or cheats; they avoid lying, but doublespeak when they must. They have nothing but their reputation, which they guard with their lives. Though Lesser Mothfolk are not inherently good, even the cruelest is fair to all they meet; this leads to a tendency to have Lawful alignments.
Home in the Wind
Lesser Mothfolk live nomadically to begin with, so life as an adventurer isn't uncommon for them. They enjoy sight-seeing and can make a home wherever, be it the trunk of a tree in the densest portion of the forest or a fine room at the local inn. They rarely own land, and when they receive it they tend to trade it away.
The wanderlust of these people overpowers them and drives them to move, to leave their current place as soon as others may have settled in. They are not a home-focused people.
