Homebrew Aarakocra Abberant Species Details

You are the product of magical experimentation.  Although you began life as an Aarakocra, you've been tortured and mutilated into something ... more.  The people who transformed you attached an extra pair of arms to your spinal column.  Although your second set of arms are somewhat underdeveloped compared to your primary arms, they can still be used to perform useful tasks.

Aarakocra Abberant Traits

As an aarakocra, you have certain traits in common with your people. Being able to fly at high speed starting at 1st level is exceptionally effective in certain circumstances and exceedingly dangerous in others. As a result, playing an aarakocra requires special consideration by your DM.

Well Armed

You have a second set of arms with which you can grasp things.  Using your second set of arms, you can lift a number of pounds equal to five times your Strength score. You can use them to do the following simple tasks: lift, drop, hold, push, or pull an object or a creature; open or close a door or a container; grapple someone; or make an unarmed strike.

You can wield one-handed weapons with your second set of arms, but not two-handed weapons or shields.  When using the attack action, you can choose which arm(s) make the attack.

When you take the attack action to make a melee attack, you can use your bonus action to strike out with additional melee weapons you are carrying that have the light property.  If you take the Dual Wielder feat, the weapons do not need to have the light property.  Striking out with a second weapon carries no penalty.  Striking out with three weapons places a -5 penalty on all three attack rolls.  Striking out with four weapons places a -8 penalty on all four attack rolls.  You can attack different targets with each attack.

If you use all four of your arms to grapple a target, the target has disadvantage on Strength (Athletics) or Dexterity (Acrobatics) checks made to escape your grapple.

Ability Score Increase

One ability score of your choice increases by two, and a different ability score of your choice increases by 1.

Talons

Your talons are natural weapons, which you can use to make unarmed strikes. If you hit with them, you deal slashing damage equal to 1d4 + your Strength modifier, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike.
