Homebrew Dracelf Species Details

An old and lonely Dracon venture out into the world of mortals to live amongst them and live as they do. He has taken up a form a human for they were plenty and most common on the Material Plane. He spent so long in this form that he had forgotten what it meant to be a dragon. While the Polymorph spell only lasts for a limited time, he was able to remain in his Human form thanks to the spell True Polymorph.

Throughout years and miles of roads, he met an Elf. She was the most beautiful creature he had ever laid eyes on. She, an adventurer led a dangerous life, but they traveled together. They became great friends and long after lovers. He told her of his secret and she didn't run. After a long and dangerous mission, they decided to retire. With their earnings from centuries of adventure, they bought land and built a home. 

Years flew by and before the True Polymorph spell ran its course and he had to leave. They both wept as they said their goodbyes. Soon after his departure, she was with child. But how? It should have been impossible for the two to produce a child. But here she was with a small baby growing inside of her.

The child was born, he was elven but had features of a dragon. His eyes were of the dragon. He had elven ears. As he grew his skin began to harden like scales but he retained his skin tone. He was strong yet gentle. Fierce but kind. He was the 1st Dracelf.

They have the features of an elf with dragon scales and markings. Elongated heads with ridges on their foreheads.
