Homebrew Charon Species Details
The Charon are a long lived species, remarkably similar to humans, but improved. Having survived exile in The Void, the Charon were forced to renew themselves constantly in a battle of survival of the fittest. Resilient and powerful, a few Charon managed to escape The Void, though their number was only 100. Dark skinned with Carmine or Indigo coloured eyes and rich black hair, the Charon were impressive mancers and fierce in combat.
With so few survivors, the Charon protected their fertile in a desperate attempt to rebuild their numbers and avoid extinction. They have an intimidating presence and suffer no fools.

Fearful Presence
You gain proficiency in Intimidation. Once per long rest, you may make an Intimidation check and have a creature make a Wisdom Saving Throw against your Intimidation check. On a success, the creature is unaffected and cannot be made to make the same saving throw in this fashion for the next 24 hours. On a failure, the creature is Frightened of you. The creature may make additional Wisdom Saving Throws on each of their turns to shrug off this condition, versus your Intimidation. You reroll your check as they attempt their saving throw.
Biological Adaptation
You don't need to eat or drink and only need to spend half the time of a long rest to gain full benefits of the long rest.
