Homebrew Watcher Species Details

The Watcher's are are a humanoid dog race created By a Cleric and Paladin of the God of wisdom to protect The Tower of the tower of Knowledge of Good and Evil.They where train to protect and take care of this tower. Also to go out into the world and gather all knowledge on any and all things. You will find them living life where ever there is knowledge to obtained. Down in dark tunnels , searching for lost tombs in catacombs of some lost city . Bartering with a wizard for a rare scroll and book he has. shatting it up with locals. And most of in Place with in the world that no wants to know are there.

             Stout and Intimidating

 the Watchers has a stocky, muscular build and a short, smooth coat varying in color. Dog like ears are set high on its broad, flat head. The most defining facial characteristic of the Watch is its wide, powerful jaw. They have very defined muscle tone body that stands between 5 to 6 and half tall.

         Mark of Faith

Watchers always have the stigma that they were created from a dog and by a religions man so they are frowned upon by most common folks. Even after being around for a thousand years as a race. When they first came into being they were raised by the Paladin and Cleric so they follow the God and belief in the God of Knowledge and Wisdom. They were taught to guard the place and protect it from any one who sought to steel, destroy and take over the Library  of All Knowledge (as it would become know as). They have a natural affinity for combat and for tactics. and that is also why most commoners and even some kingdoms fear them.

    Seekers and Wanderers

Watchers as time has past spread into the world around them As the Order for  Knowledge grew and gain many followers. the Watcher grew in numbers many of them decide to live amongst the world and settle in towns and cities. They also spread throughout the world to learn and gain knowledge and find a place to belong.

    Watchers Names

Watchers usually have names appropriate to the culture in which they were raised. A Watchers who wants to fit in among other races might trade an orc name for a that races common name. Some Watchers with other race names decide to adopt a Typical Watcher name because they think it makes them more Noble and Honorable
