ANDROID

Androids aren't born, they're created. can be thought of as the next evolutionary step of the robots from the classic series. For all intents and purposes, Androids are almost the same as humans on a mental level; they think and feel, giving them the ability to make their own decisions and develop unique personalities. Although Androids undergo major physical changes throughout, they generally retain this one trait with the exception of mentally degraded.

Androids are more physically diverse than any other race. There is no typical android. An android can stand from 4 feet to over 9 feet tall and weigh from 90 to 300 pounds. Android plating ranges from tin to adamantine, and hair colors from black to blond;  Androids don't age, although they can die.

Adaptable

Androids are the most adaptable and ambitious things among the realms. They have widely varying tastes, morals, and customs in the many different lands where they have settled. Although androids often never settle, they are most often run out of towns or cities when the people living there find out that they are not who they seem to be. Androids often find comfort in the wild living in isolation.

 

Vessels of Ambition

Androids who seek adventure are the most daring and ambitious members of a daring and ambitious race. They seek to earn respect in the eyes of all the other races.

Android Names

Having so much more variety than other cultures, androids as a whole have no typical names. Some creators give their creations names from other languages, such as Dwarvish or Elvish (pronounced more or less correctly), but most creators give names that are linked to their region’s culture or to the naming traditions of their ancestors.

ANDROIDS CHARACTERITCS

Androids are humanoids, and may appear either male or female. They usually have a human face (and sometimes, hair), as well as bulging armor around the forelimbs and upper body. However, many are built to actually resemble robotic animals with humanoid traits. These particular Reploids tend to be designed for very specific tasks; for example, a heavy duty Reploid may be large and bulky, whereas a marine Reploid may be based on a fish. There is no limit to the tasks Reploids can perform with the right design.

Artificial Brain

You have difficulty processing your own emotions and understanding those of others. As a result, you suffer disadvantage when making Wisdom (Insight) checks. You also have advantage on saving throws against being charmed.

Fiber Optics

Your artificially-designed eyes grant you superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 30 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can discern color in darkness.

Artificial Power

Androids don't require food, water, or sleep, instead they are solar powered. It takes about 50 hours for them to run out of power on a short rest you gain 8 more hours of run time, and on a long rest you completely recharge.

At 5th level your circuitry develops giving you the ability to fly, your flying speed is equal to your walking speed.

Ability Score Increase

 Your Strength, Dexterity, Intellegence, and Constitution ability scores each increase by 1.

Age

It has no age or changes as time passes, just as it is not affected by time magics

Alignment

Has no alignment, gets behaviors and learns to feel over time and interaction.

Size

Androids vary widely in height and build, from barely 4 feet to well over 7 feet tall. Regardless of your position in that range, your size is Medium.

Speed

Your base walking speed is 35 feet.

Android

You count as both a construct and a humanoid for the purpose of effects targeting such creatures, you can stay underwater for large amounts of time without surfacing as you are not breathing. In addition, you are immune to disease, petrification, and poison.

Damage Resistance

You have resistance to the damage type associated with type poison and disease.

Languages

You can speak, read, and write Common and Draconic. Draconic is thought to be one of the oldest languages and is often used in the study of magic. The language sounds harsh to most other creatures and includes numerous hard consonants and sibilants.
