Homebrew Vengeful Spirit Species Details

Incorporeal and ghastly, Vengeful Spirits are wronged spirits that have escaped from the Underworld . Due too dying early, they are often bitter, and they do not hold much regard for the lives of other people they do not have relationships with. Some have become renowned assassins, able to pass through any barrier and kill their target without it even knowing that they are there, while others have taken a more righteous path, becoming divine servants of deities to protect others who share the fate of betrayal.

Vengeful Spirit Traits

Most Vengeful Spirits take the appearance of their original race, but they are all ghostly and intimidating, able to dissipate and reappear somewhere else.

Darkvision

Due to traversing the underworld, you can see in dim light within 60 feet as if it were bright light, and in dark light as if it were dim light.

Vengeful Resistance

Due to traversing the Underworld in a state of despair, tormented by the hellish flames, you have resistance to necrotic and psychic damage.

Incorporeal Body

Your body is transparent and made up of wisps of matter. Your AC is equal to 10 + your dexterity modifier + your charisma modifier.

Mental Resistance

Your will has been tempered, and so you have gained resistance to Charm Person.
