Homebrew Cerberusborn Species Details
Cerberusborn are a line of multi-headed-canine humanoids that originated from the original Cerberus, guard for the gates of the underworld. They are born with the body of a regular puppy, although they grow a more humanoid torso with age. Each head has minor control of the body and somewhat different personalities, so they must work as one in order to function.
Few exist in the world, so cerberusborn are greeted with strange looks and sometimes harshness because of their ties to the underworld, similar to a tiefling's societal treatment.
A cerberusborn's personality can vary from aggressive and territorial to friendly and open. However their kindness, they will still follow a pack mentality. Those in the pack are allies or even friends, while those outside the pack are enemies and strangers. Cerberusborn will follow the pack's goals, unless they think they are the strongest in the pack. The cerberusborn that believes they are the strongest will declare themselves the alpha of the pack, and order the rest to follow their goals instead.

Your strength increases by 2, and another ability of your choice increases by 1.
Claws
Your unarmed strike does 1d4 slashing damage.
Bite
You have multiple heads to bite with, each with strong jaws. You may do a bite that does 1d6 piercing damage as either an action or a bonus action. If only one head is left, you may not use bite as a bonus action.
Three heads
You have three heads attatched to your neck.
Roleplay
Each head's personality and appearance is entirely up to you. They may be dramatically different from eachother, or they may be exactly the same. Two may be stubborn while one is kind, or one has a murderous conscious while two are always fighting with eachother over what food to eat. Likewise, they may all be the same color, or one may be black, or white, or purple. No matter how you design the heads, you still will have to roleplay all three of them.
Gameplay
Having a head removed does not mean instant death. As long as one head remains and you have more than zero hitpoints, you will live. You may choose to eat and drink through multiple heads at once. You have advantage on perception from having six eyes, have proficiency in investigation from having enhanced canine senses, and have darkvision.

Cerberusborn are typically around 3 to 5 feet tall and weigh about the same as a human. Your size is Medium.
Speed
You have canine-like legs, making your base walking speed 35 feet.

You can speak, read, and write Common and Infernal, due to your hellish heritage.
