Homebrew Charrlinger Species Details

A Hybrid? On Fire?

Charrlingers are a race of three armed beings that have features of a cat and a snake. Their bodies are covered with scales that when clicked are able to make sparks. With the help of a type of flammable moisturizer their body secretes, they are able to be set on fire. Making just a spark is a simple task while they have to concentrate on staying alight. Their underside or their chest and stomach are covered in white fur.

Travelers From Another Land

Charrlingers are a nomadic people and never really settle down. On an occasion in which they do, they send out groups of at least five to travel and mark territory. They like trading some more valuable items and it is common to find a caravan traveling the roads. Charrlingers never stay in one place for more than 20 days.

Cooking? Not an option

Charrlingers seem to have a hard time finding a good combination of food. Even basic cooking is hard. Because of this their food generally consists of raw meat. For the lucky ones that get to travel to different towns they get to buy and eat some great dishes.

 Customs

The Charrlingers are always changing locations. They never stay in the same place. When they are born they don't have names. They receive their names in a celebration with other Charrlingers born in that year. The celebration takes place on the final day of their fourth year. The children, when they turn 20, receive an occupation. The occupation they receive is usually what the father was. The females in the traveling group are usually the ones that look after the children and possessions.

 Third Arm

Charrlingers have a third arm protruding from the center of their chest that has a hand with four fingers and two thumbs, one on each side. They use their third arm for a number of  reasons, whether it is carrying, lifting, or just using strength.
