Homebrew Werewolf Species Details
Werewolves are one of the oldest races in existence.
Werewolf Traits
It’s hard to make generalizations about humans, but your werewolf character has these traits.Darkvision
As a werewolf you can see in dim light as though it were bright light for 60 feet, and in dark light you can see as though it were dim light for 30 feet. You do not see colors in dark light, only shades of grey.
Regeneration
The curse of lycanthropy still grants you superior regenerative abilities. At the start of your turn in combat, if you did not take damage since your last turn, you regain hit points equal to 1d3 + your constitution modifier.
Sharp Senses
Your sharp canine senses grant you advantage on perception rolls that involve your sense of smell or sense of hearing.
Thick Hide
As a werewolf your skin is extremely tough, granting you resistances to bludgeoning, slashing and piercing non magical damage. However you are weak to silvered weapons.
ShapeShifter
In addition, you can change your appearance into that of a human, you retain the hair color, eye color, and physique of your wolf form, but anything else is up for change.
Ability Score Increase
Your Strength. Dexterity and Constitution increase by 2.
Age
Werewolves live for quite some time, as they are immortal and do not age after their bodies reach maturity.
Alignment
Werewolves lean towards a lawful neutral alignment, dedicated to their packs for better or worse.
Size
Werewolves vary widely in height and build, from barely 5 feet to well over 7 feet tall. Regardless of your position in that range, your size is Medium.
Speed
Your base walking and climbing speed is 45 feet, your swimming speed is 20 feet.
