Homebrew Daelkyr Half-Blood Species Details
Despite being trapped in the Xorriant Plane, Daelkyr still have influence over the material plane. You are one such being of that influence. Upon realizing their possible defeat to the orc druids that sent them back to their home plane, they created the breed leech, a small symbiote that attaches to a pregnant human mother. Once attached the symbiote starts a process call womb-warping where it biologically changes the baby within ti become a Daelkyr Half-Blood. You are one such half-blood, now you must choose whether to reject or give in to the voices within your head, pushing you to continue the Daelkyr's legacy.
Daelkyr Half-Blood Traits
You share traits with both humans and the daelkyrSize
Daelkyr half-bloods are most often born of human mothers, and as such share almost all physical features in common with humans. A Daelkyr half-blood stands between 5 and 6 feet tall and rarely weighs more than 180 pounds.
Allignment
Half-bloods tend toward chaotic due to their dual nature and are more often evil than good, but nothing predetermines the eventual alignment of a Daelkyr half-blood — the manner in which the half-blood is raised truly determines allignment.
Names
Daelkyr half-bloods are usually born to human parents so they tend to have human names.

You can speak, read, and write Common, Daelkyr, and Deep Speech.
Ability Score Increase
Your constitution score increases by 2 and either your strength or dexterity score increases by 1
Speed
Your base walking speed is 30
Darkvision
As an aberration you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Warped Blood
Warped by Daelkyr magic, you are an aberration. As such you are vulnerable to spells and effects that target aberrations.
Power Over Symbiotes
Daelkyr Half-Bloods have a level of control over their symbiotes second only to the Daelkyr themselves. You have advantage in conflicts with any symbiote attached to your body and you gain vitality for each symbiote attached. You gain 2 bonus hit points per symbiote attached to you. If you detach a symbiote, you lose these hit points immediately. You are considered proficient with any weapons, armor, and abilities a symbiote provides and you can remove a symbiote without needing to cast remove curse.
Items with the description Symbiotic Nature (such as Belashyrra’s Beholder Crown) are considered to be symbiotes.
Symbiote Dependency
Your facility with symbiote usage comes at a price. For every 24 hours you spend not in contact with any symbiote you suffer a level of exhaustion. Levels of exhaustion gained in this way cannot be reduced by finishing a long rest unless you have a symbiote attached to your body.
Sybiote Bond
At birth the breed leech latches to you and has managed to stick with you thus far, when making your character add the Breed Leech by superm0ss.
