Homebrew Smol Bird Species Details
Is a Bird
As a bird people find it strange when they come into a town asking for things and trying to do tasks that bird's normally wouldn't so they often travel with someone just to cover up the strangeness of looking like an average bird. They are always watching their surroundings because very rarely lower class people might try to catch and sell them for research or just for some money to buy food.
Appearances
They can be any bird you see, however most of them will have some sort of leather or type of clothing to help with others figure out that they aren't regular birds to be chased and hunted.
Evolution!
Over many centuries they evolved to the point where the could actually speak and learn. After a while of learning they were eventually able to even cast spells that normal people can.

Age
Smol Birds "grow" and mature faster than humans, reaching maturity at age 10 at which point their aging slows. They can live for 200 years.

Smol Birds are gentle animals living in a world that does not treat them that well. They tend to embrace neither evil nor good, looking out for themselves and any friends they have.
Size
Small Birds stand between 2-3 feet tall and weigh between 2.5 - 5 ounces. Your size is Tiny.
Speed
Your base walking speed is 30 feet, your base flying speed is 60 feet.
Darkvision
Thanks to your bird genetics, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Force Resistance
You have resistance to force damage due to being in harsh wind enviroments.

You are proficient with your unarmed strikes, which deal 1d8 slashing damage on a hit.

Wing "Hands"
As a Smol Bird you can use your wings as hands so that you can hold and use items with ease, your wings basically act as normal hands.
