Homebrew Children of the Winter Wind Species Details

The Children of the Winter Wind are spirits of the chill that leaves frost on your lawn before mornings light. They are the beings that deliver each and every snow flake. They bring the ice cycles that adorn every rooftop from the Towers of a kings castle all the way to each home in the smallest of villages. They are spirits of fun and good natured pranksters. The Children of the Winter Wind are traditionally invisible to mortal beings in the material plane unless they choose to make themselves visible, however this doesn't hide them from any other Yule Tide Spirit. 

The Children of the Wind are a magical race by nature, carrying the capacity of some simple spells with a frosty nature. Those spells are Gust, The First Snow Ball, and Frost Walking Gift.

Children of the Winter Wind Traits

The Children of the Winter Wind are among the Spirits of Yule Tide. Jack Frost himself is one of the most famous of the Children of the Winter Wind.

Invisibility

Children of the Winter Wind are invisible to all mortal creatures on the physical plane unless they choose to reveal themselves. They are not invisible, however to other Spirits of the Yule Tide unless by effect of a spell or magic item. All attacks are at disadvantage against these spirits by mortals who cannot see them.

Spell Casting

Children of the Winter Wind have two natural spells that can be cast. These spells are Gust, The First Snow Ball, and Frost Walking Gift. They can be cast up to 3 times daily.

Fathers Embrace

As Children of the Winter Wind you may be carried by your father. This will give you the ability of flight and a flight speed of 40 ft.
