Homebrew Werething Species Details
It’s all explained in short description. Also, these guys are generally evil.
Werething Traits
All Werethings will gain +3 strength and +2 speed(if speed isn’t one then intelligence.). They will also gain additional benefits and degrades depending on the subrace.Strength of Were
You get +2 strength.
Werelizard
A Werelizard is a creature that has been bitten by an infected lizard. With each attack, it does +1d4 poison damage. You also get +5 walking speed, +2 dexterity, +2 intelligence, You are also medium size when transformed, and -1 strength. You also get darkvision and sun heal.
Sun Heal
When the sun, you will heal 1d6 or 4 damage per minute.
Darkvision
You can see in the dark, but only in shades of gray.
Wererat
A Wererat is a creature that has been bitten by an infected rat. When this subrace is chosen, the creature gain +3 dexterity, +1 strength, +2 walking speed and darkvision.
Darkvision
You can see in the dark for 50 feet, but only in black and blues.
Rat infection
When a creature is hit by an attack by a Wererat, it must make a Wisdom saving throw. If the target succeeds, this ability has no effect. If the target fails, they will be charmed by the rat, not being able to attack the Wererat, and will do what the Wererat says. The spell is broken if the mind controller hurts the creature or the creature is ordered to kill itself.
Werevulture
A Werevulture is created when an infected vulture feasts on the dead flesh of a creature. The creature is reanimated, as if they didn’t die. A Werevulture gains+2 dexterity, +1 Wisdom and can fly at a speed of 30. They also get -1 in strength. A Werevulture can smell something dead from a mile away.
Death Smell
A Werevulture, when transformed, can something dead from a mile away. They can also smell if it is a zombie, skeleton, or just plain dead. This ability does not take any time. Ask your DM if there is anything near enough.
Darkvision
You can see in the dark around you for 50 feet. You can only see in navy blues and grays.
Werewolf
When you chose werewolf, you have more strength and and dexterity. Strength is +2, +10 walking speed, and dexterity is +1, but intelligence is -1.
Darkvision
You can see in the dark for 60 feet around you in full color.
Savage Rage
A rage can only be activated if the Werewolf has less then 4 hp remaining. When in a rage, the Werewolf will receive +5 strength and -1 intelligence. A rage lasts until the Werewolf is healed or dead.
